Join Tony Oliver for an engaging and interactive four-hour online class, where you’ll explore techniques to create quality characters quickly and efficiently. Through guided exercises, script reads, and scene work, you’ll build confidence in your acting choices while sharpening your instincts and adaptability. How It Works: * Tony will introduce acting tools and techniques, focusing on how vocal, physical, and nonverbal communication shape performance. * You’ll explore the musicality of language, using rhythm, pacing, and tonal shifts to enhance delivery. * Exercises and scene work will help you build a strong emotional foundation, allowing for more organic and truthful character performances. * You’ll work with real scripts from Bang Zoom! Productions' recorded projects, applying these techniques in partnered and solo reads. Explore techniques to make your performances more dynamic and compelling. Challenge yourself to think more deeply about your acting choices, refine your instincts, and develop the skills to create authentic and engaging characters. Attendees Must Join the Google Classroom. 2. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the Google Classroom - join it right away. This platform will serve as the central hub for all course-related information, homework assignments (including selecting copy), zoom conferencing link and materials. 3. If you are having issues joining the classroom, We suggest joining with an email ending in @gmail.com VIDEO CONFERENCE VIA ZOOM REQUIREMENTS: 1. Webcam & Light Source: So our instructor can see your face clearly. 2. Microphone: Please do not use the built-in microphone on your device. A headset microphone will do, a USB or XLR microphone is best.
